With over 40 years of musical history, talent, and experience Porter has had the honor of playing with some of the best names in the industry. Bo worked for years at Dollywood as a singer and entertainer. He has traveled and resided in many states throughout his life, but is proud to call Texas home.

Nunn, Junior Brown, Tim Mcgraw, Rosie Flores, Asleep at the Wheel, Wayne 'The Train' Hancock, Dale Watson, Freddy Powers, Wanda Jackson, Ray Campi, Shelly King, Susan Gibson, Hal Ketchum, Sunny Throckmorton, Johnny Bush, Redd Volkaert, Earl Poole Ball, and Loretta Lynn are some of the talents he's worked with and opened for.
As a traveling troubadour Bo has had the pleasure of touring the US, as well as Europe for the past several years. A proud headliner for Billybob's Euro Disney in Paris, France, Country Nights Grindlewald Festival in Grindlewald, Switzerland, Albisguteli Country Music Festival in Zurich, Switzerland, Block House Festival in Uetendorf, Switzerland, and a featured guest at many other wonderful festivals and events including the Vinstra Country Music Festival in Vinstra, Norway. Bo prides himself and his band on professionalism, performing one of a kind originals, obscure beloved classics, and keeping the crowd swingin'.
Playing among other talented peers at the Frank Brown Songwriters Festival for almost a decade has allowed Bo the opportunity to meet many talented friends and fellow storytellers. In 2003 Bo won APRN Country Song of the Year, following successes include a 2011 nomination for Male Vocalist of the year, and a Song of the year nomination for the Texas Music Awards in 2014. His latest accomplishment being one of eight participants to be selected in the Texas Songwriters University in 2016.
Bo continues to tour and play full time and is available for booking. Bo is a free the chi facilitator, and all that other positive thinking bullshit. He puts off good vibes and always makes time to kiss hands and shake babies.
